Warning: This game contains nudity and sexual situations intended for players 18+ only. There is an SFW mode that removes/lessens these aspects, and it can be enabled before the game boots up the first time. Turn this on if you're gonna stream on Twitch or something.

Welcome to FLICK CLUB, a parlor run by debaucherous monster girls. This establishment is renowned for its high-stakes game tables, where guests wager their clothes on games of skill and chance (namely, a sliding block puzzle with playing cards).

This build is a pre-release demo that includes a variety of single player modes, as well as a head-to-head Versus mode that can be played with 2 players or 1 player and 1 CPU opponent. This game is a work in progress, so please reply with any comments or suggestions you might have, or issues you encounter - I'm listening.

The Board:
The standard game board is a 5x5 grid of Suit Emblems, representing each of the 5 suits: Heart, Spade, Diamond, Club, and Heptagon (look, I had to come up with a fifth one). The goal of the game is to shift Suit Emblems into a matching line, horizontally or vertically. If, after a line is cleared, there remains a row or column with all matching suit Emblems, that line will subsequently disappear; this is called a combo, and you will be rewarded greatly for pulling them off.

Versus Mode:
This is it. The main event. Square off with another player or with a CPU opponent in a best of 5 round competition. Match lines to knock down your opponent's stamina bar, and when it's empty, they have to remove an article of clothing (or not, depending on the settings). Combos will boost your score faster, but don't take too long setting them up; if your timer runs out, you automatically lose the round, so keep an eye on that fuse! Refer to the Gold Emblems and Cards sections for more information on how they affect gameplay.

Characters:

Each playable character has their own strengths and weaknesses in Versus Mode. They have 3 main stats - offense and defense, which augment the damage dealt and received respectively, and special, which alters the effectiveness of special attacks. Each character also has a passion suit and favorite item; specials listed on cards that match a character's passion suit will always benefit them, and their favorite item will show up slightly more frequently in their hand.

Time Attack Mode:
It's okay to play with yourself every once in a while. In Time Attack mode, you have a fixed amount of time to get as high of a score as you can. Gold Emblems appear in this mode, but instead of activating a card, matching a row of them will inspire your character to remove an article of clothing, and since this mode is all about putting on a show, your score will be boosted for the rest of the run (this bonus is applied whether stripping is enabled or not, don't worry).

Puzzle Mode:

Clear randomly generated in a fixed number of moves. Toni believes in you!

Casual Mode:
Want to learn how to flick, or just want a chill, pressure-free environment in which to play or tinker with your strategies? Step up to the practice table. In Casual mode, there is no timer, no score bar, and no cards - just a grid of Suit Emblems to be flicked around until you're tired of doing it. This mode can be exited at any time via the pause menu.

Gold Emblems:
If cards are on, every time you match a line of Suit Emblems, one of the replacement emblems will instead be a Gold Emblem (and if you make a combo, you'll get 2 Gold Emblems). Match a line of Gold Emblems to activate the effect of your active card.

Cards:
If cards are on, your hand of cards appears underneath your board. They are randomly dealt, but there will always be one of each suit in your hand. Whenever either player matches a line of Suit Emblems, the active card changes to the one of the same suit, which will be indicated by both that card sticking out from the rest of the hand, and by the background changing to that color - shouldn't be that hard to miss. In Versus Mode, cards can have the following effects:

  • Bonk Hammer: Knocks down target's stamina bar.
  • Bandage: Heals target's stamina bar.
  • Blindfold: Temporarily obscures part of the target's board.
  • Heat: Increases the speed of the target's bomb fuse for a bit.
  • Tickle: Randomizes all target's non-Gold emblems.

Note that some cards in your hand may have an effect that's disadvantageous to you; cards that will mess you up are marked with an X, while cards that will help you are marked with an O. As mentioned in the Characters section above, a character's Passion suit will always be a good card.

Is there any estimate date on when v8.0.0 will be released to the public?

It's not done yet, but we're aiming to have it released by Valentine's Day (a bit cliché, but it's better to have a cliché deadline than none at all).

is this rlly fully censored?

No, the game is uncensored - we just save the NSFW stuff for the game itself!

Happy New year

so any further news on the full release?

Nothing I do causes the cursor to move

Sorry, there was a bug in this build that caused keyboard to be unavailable in 1p mode. A patch is coming later today.

Thank you very much It's a very well-made game and I wish I could play it

controls are completely unresponsive in a match, i can only exit to main menu. no controls will work regardless if im on Dual mode or Key mode

Sorry, there was a bug in this build that caused keyboard to be unavailable in 1p mode. A patch is coming later today.

Lovely, thanks

so when ill it be the full release? aprox

v1.0.0 is projected to be released by the end of the year. We got a couple of playable characters left to finish, and we're making some big breakthroughs on story mode that we'll be sharing next month.

I found a glitch: when on the y2k or 1998 control modes, and you press space + arrow keys (not wasd), it will move the tiles by two spaces instead of one. Also the intended behavior of the arrows in these modes is not really documented. I think a more convenient control scheme might be to allow the arrows to either flick+move or flick in-place depending on space/another toggle button.

Another minor problem, in the browser the esc key exits fullscreen mode, so it isn't ideal as a "back" button. Maybe add an alternate back button (I like z/x as accept/back)

Thanks! Today's patch fixes the double-flick bug (now the arrow keys behave the same as WASD), and it adds J and X as back keys as well. We'll take note of that control thing - an array of Y2K-style flick buttons might be an interesting play style.

This is so much fun!!! The puzzle is seriously addicting especially in versus mode, and the characters and setting are cute & fun

Is there going to be Android Version for Flick club?

We're not currently targeting mobile, but never say never.

This game is surprisingly really fun! Ain't much into puzzles but this is actually really cool!
wish i had someone to play it with tho ngl

Played the game once and only once because it stopped working from then on anyone know why?

Ok so game is good love it a lot, but is it really 18+ if you can turn nsfw off?

Deleted 29 days ago

Yeah I didn't see that part. btw I was loading the game up but now it doesn't work you know why?

(+1)

Ok when I try the browser version or the windows version, my mouse goes behind the game and I can't click anything. Am I doing something wrong?

The cursor is hidden in this game, since mouse support is not yet implemented (only gamepad and keyboard so far).

in steam ?

We'll eventually be bringing our games to Steam, once they're sufficiently complete - FLICK CLUB will likely be later this year.

This demo is amazing. honestly as is it could very well be a stand alone arcade game. the gameplay look is adictive, and even without the NSFW aspects the game feels extremely rewarding to play! only problem is that there's not much to keep you coming back but i reckon the campain will solve that. great game 10/10. (on a more personal note, i love the inclusion of Skye as a trans woman, this kind of representation is just pure gold :D I'd support the team if i could but i did spread the word about the game haha. thanks <3)

i forgot to add that a cool thing would be some thinner or semi transparent strike FX for that competitive edge haha

(+1)

Why does the mac version of the game request input monitoring permissions?

Is this a Catalina thing? I've been holding steadfast to 10.14, so I'm not too familiar with how it performs on the current OS.

Finally noticed this updated, and I gotta admit I really liked the old character art style better.

We played Flick Club and Noods tonight on Dat Shorts Review! These games are sexy, slick and need your horny energy!

(+1)

The hentai content is bare minimum in this one and the gameplay so far is extremely repetitive (and unrewarding). Consider adding powerups, levels and rewards, different erotic poses, more sexualized appearances to the characters, sound effects. Also there's a bug where their faces disappear instead of there being a reward, total mood killer. lol. Otherwise, a nice looking and working game, just not that much of a game nor hentai to it. Failure state???

(+2)

The lewd content on display in this demo is just the tip of the iceberg - we have a story mode in the works where the post-match results go beyond stripping, with full-screen artwork.

Also, thanks for the heads up - we are working on a fix for the face removal bug that should be available soon.

Trans gals represent! 👍

Out of all games that I expected to see turned into a strip game, Yoshi's Cookie was not on the list, yet I'm glad to see it happen regardless. Will there be any male characters, or will it be all female and trans characters?

(+1)

That's to be determined - I know who the 6th character is gonna be, but the other 2 are a mystery, as is the actual number of characters in the final game (more support/budget = more characters).

(+1)

This is like too good to be a porn game. I love the characters and stuff but I can't really get anything out of them since I'm too busy trying to figure out how to play the game.

Haha, I'll take that as a compliment. Two of the things that we want to add at some point are a more robust tutorial, and some sort of single player campaign that builds the characters up some more - no time table for those, but they are in the works.

(+2)(-2)

fun gameplay, cute artstyle, AND the inclusion of trans characters? you've already won me over with a tiny demo c:

also curious about the song that plays during a match - it's genuinely pretty catchy lmao

That's Groovy Cabriolet Ride, by StudioBEES. Since this started out as a single-person project, I pretty much went on a stock music shopping spree to flesh out the audio.

Great art, Great Music, Great Gameplay too !
Honestly for a pre-release that very cool.

I'm curious about the finish game.

Thanks! Not to sound glib, but I'm curious about what the finished product is gonna look like too.

Since the characters are already stripping i would also like to see some kind of punishment scene at the end for the loser to make winning a bit more rewarding. Otherwise a great concept, would like to see it extended gameplay wise. P.S.: the CPU seems a bit easy for me...

(+1)

Oh don't worry, character interactions are coming, it just wasn't in the scope of this demo; that's why there's still one round after everything's off, after all!

I do plan on improving the AI, but want that difficulty to come from it being smarter - able to do combos, strategically use items, and navigate around freeze blocks (especially the latter). I guess I could add a speed setting in the meantime. Right now, they just execute their basic strategy one move per fixed time interval, something i can lower, higher, or hell, remove entirely.

(+2)(-3)

Decent game. Probably too involved for me to master.
Will there be a sexuality option? I'm not interested in seeing naked men/futa.

Will there be story mode(s)? Seems ripe for some.

(+5)

A single player campaign is one of the things I'd like to add further down the line. I haven't hammered out the details of it, but it won't force you to play as/get intimate with specific characters - you can express your preferences that way, but I have no plans of adding, say, a menu setting that "turns off" trans characters.

Agreed with you there. While I'm trans and gay, I still think you shouldn't force someone to see private parts they shouldn't want to see.

Maybe not ''turn off'' trans characters, but maybe make them post-op with a button so that you don't have to see genitalia you don't wanna see instead?
Just a suggestion, seems like a good compromise

What's this, another actual proper strip game on itch.io? And a VERY unique one! I gave it a little whirl, and it has some nice music and a nice artstyle. Interested to see where this will go.

In my brief try, I noticed on losing a round when the 'Take it off' prompt happened, nothing actually seemed to happen though. I saw a directional pad input, but pushing up or down didn't seem to do anything.

(+1)

Thanks! If this was with a keyboard, the latest patch should fix that.

(+1)

Gave that a spin and it works now, thanks for the quick patch!
